Park West Casinos hired me to update the branding and website for Casino 580 in Livermore, CA, one of six different properties under the Park West umbrella. With a 85% Asian client base, the brand was to focus on traditional symbols and colors associated with good fortune within the asian culture. In addition, Baccarat, the most popular game at this casino, was featured, as were the Dragon and Panda which represented winning hands.
Overall, six distinctly different directions were presented for consideration. Ultimately it was decided to use the Park West Casino brand as the primary mark with the various properties falling underneath as sub brands.
Upon completion of the Park West Casinos – 580, the websites for the other five properties were rolled out utilizing the same updated brand.
