With inventive cocktails, an impressive wine list, and an ever-changing beer list and seasonal food menu, San Leandro’s SONS OF LIBERTY ALEHOUSE is more than the area’s best place to grab a pint. They hired me to design and produce everything from the core branding to the website to apparel and branded products to be sold in the restaurant’s shop.
Inspiration for the brand was taken from linocut artwork from the American Revolution. The “Don't Tread on Me” snake evolved to anchor the logo and as serve as a standalone element featured on glassware and cutlery. Icons and illustrations were created in the same style for menus and marketing collateral.
